47 years ago, Djeco received an international award for a game that would revolutionize the creative leisure activities. This game, it’s the Spirograph, and the award, the Oscar for the best toy in 1966, no less!
Created by Denys Fischer, Spirograph was the result of a whole life of researches. Its success both with the children and their parents is that it mixes mathematics with design with its bordered and serrated circles.
With its set of wheels and small rulers, the possibilities for lines are boundless and vertiginous. With Spirograp, some generations of little kids have developed the control of their gestures and understood the meaning of bends and geometry.
